This page is the result of over 20 years of clinical practice, literature searches, and struggling to solve the problems so many people experience when going through cancer treatment. Oncologists are amazing at getting rid of cancer or bringing patients into remission, but not so great at helping those same patients retain quality of life. That's where I come in!
As a cancer patient and licensed acupuncturist, as I experienced things during my treatment I wished I'd had a one-stop, reasonably priced resource to help me manage symptoms like post-surgical pain and swelling, sexual symptoms associated with chemo and hormone blocking medications, declining bone density due to the meds I had to take, and more. I REALLY wanted to use cannabis to support myself through treatment, and had no idea how to do it. Discussions with medical gate-keepers were unsatisfying, and bud tenders were mostly interested in getting me as "high" as possible while MY goal was to relieve symptoms with as little impairment as possible.
This site and the classes and materials I've created are my attempt at bridging the gap between medical outcome and quality of life. Some of these classes are designed for patients, some are designed for practitioners who want to help their patients. Practitioner classes are specifically labeled, and I'm working on setting up to grant continuing education credits for these.
I've done my best to make all of my classes accessible, informative, and based on the most current medical evidence at the time of recording. I've also tried to provide information which is immediately useable so you can take action quickly and start getting relief. When specific products are mentioned in a class, it's because my personal experience has been positive enough to promote them. I am not associated with any of the companies who make or sell any of those products, and my only "profit" from any product promotion comes if you choose to purchase through an affiliate link rather than going directly to their website.
